Overview
M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, commonly known as the Chepauk Stadium, is a cricket stadium in Chepauk, Chennai. It is named after M. A. Chidambaram, a former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, and managed by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). It was established in 1916 and is the second oldest international cricket stadium in the country after Eden Gardens, which is still being used to host Test cricket.
