The BPL final match time has been rescheduled, moving it one hour earlier than originally planned.
According to the previous schedule, the final was set to begin at 7 PM, but it has now been moved up to 6 PM.
Fortune Barishal and Chattogram Kings will face off in the final of the 11th edition of the BPL on Friday at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. The Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) media department officially announced the change on Thursday at 7:30 PM. However, tickets sold both online and at physical booths already had the match time listed as 6 PM.
Throughout this season, afternoon matches in the BPL started at 1:30 PM, while evening matches began at 6:30 PM. On Fridays, afternoon matches were scheduled for 2 PM, with evening games at 7 PM. Since the final is a standalone match, the time adjustment does not cause any scheduling conflicts.
Fortune Barishal will be aiming for their second consecutive title in this final. Meanwhile, Chattogram Kings, who last played a BPL final in 2013, have made a remarkable return to the league and reached the final once again. No team from Chattogram has ever won the BPL title, making this a historic opportunity for them.
