A new tournament always means a new jersey—something that sparks plenty of discussions and debates in Bangladesh. With the Champions Trophy approaching, the excitement is no different. Fans have been eager to know: how does this year’s jersey look?
To satisfy everyone’s curiosity, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) posted a video on their verified Facebook page this evening, officially unveiling the team’s Champions Trophy jersey.
The jersey features a golden outline of a tiger’s face on the lower part, while the traditional red and green colors blend seamlessly into the design. The reveal video showcased captain Najmul Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Jaker Ali, Nahid Rana, Tanzim Hasan, and Nasum Ahmed wearing the new kit.
The Champions Trophy kicks off on February 19, with Bangladesh playing their first match the next day against India in Dubai. The team will then face New Zealand on February 24 and hosts Pakistan on February 27, both in Rawalpindi.
