Jacob Duffy’s impressive bowling form throughout March has put him in line for a major accolade. The New Zealand pacer has been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award. He is joined on the list by teammate Rachin Ravindra and India’s Shreyas Iyer.

In the opening match in Christchurch, Duffy claimed a career-best 4 for 14. He followed it up with another four-wicket haul in the fourth game at Mount Maunganui, conceding only 20 runs. He also played one ODI during the month, taking two wickets against Pakistan.
Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer was a key figure in India’s Champions League victory last month. In March, he played three ODIs, scoring 172 runs at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 77.47, finishing as India’s top scorer in the tournament.
He scored 79* against New Zealand in the group stage, 45 in the semi-final against Australia, and a vital 48 in the final, again against New Zealand.
