Champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru walked away with ₹20 crore in prize money, while a host of individual awards added more flair to the IPL season finale.
Every IPL match brought with it a handful of awards, and the final was no different. In fact, post-match celebrations and ceremonies meant the presentation only began after 1 AM local time and continued for quite a while. The ceremony not only included match-specific awards but also season-long honors for outstanding individual performances.
Back in 2008, when the IPL first began, the champions received ₹4.8 crore—a record amount for any cricket tournament at the time. Fast forward to 2025, and the champion’s purse has more than quadrupled.
