The 1932 County Championship marked the 43rd edition of the first-class cricket competition in England. Eighteen counties competed in the league system, aiming to secure the title through consistent performance throughout the summer.
Yorkshire dominated the season, securing their 16th championship title. This victory represented the second year in a row that the club finished at the top of the table.
The tournament utilized a points-based structure to determine the final standings. Teams earned 15 points for a win, while matches ending in a draw awarded points based on the first-innings lead or deficit. If scores finished level in a match, each team received 7.5 points. In instances of a drawn match where first-innings scores were level, or when there was no result or play, both sides were awarded 4 points.
