Sheffield Shield 1934–35

The 1934–35 Sheffield Shield season marked the 43rd edition of the first-class cricket competition in Australia. Four teams participated in the tournament, competing under a double round-robin format to determine the domestic champions. Across the season, the teams played a total of 12 matches.

Victoria claimed the title, securing their 15th championship win in the history of the competition. Their dominance was supported by strong individual performances, particularly in the bowling department, where Chuck Fleetwood-Smith led all participants with 60 wickets.

While Victoria controlled the team standings, Jack Fingleton of New South Wales stood out as the leading batsman of the season. Fingleton tallied 593 runs throughout the matches, finishing as the highest run-scorer for the campaign.
