The 1994 to 1995 Sheffield Shield marked the 103rd edition of Australia's premier domestic first class cricket competition. Six teams battled across thirty one matches in a double round robin format that ultimately led to a final. South Australia won the toss and elected to bat in that decisive clash.
Queensland claimed the championship title for the first time in their history. Carl Rackemann spearheaded their bowling attack with fifty two wickets, the most of any player in the tournament.
Victoria's Dean Jones dominated with the bat. Jones scored 1216 runs during the competition, earning the player of the series award for his performances.
