Godfrey Basil Henderson, known to cricket circles as Buster, spent his life in Trinidad and Tobago. He was born in 1911 and became a figure in West Indian officiating during the mid-twentieth century.
His career reached the highest level of the game in 1948. Henderson stood as an umpire in a single Test match between the West Indies and England. That solitary appearance remains the defining moment of his professional officiating record.
He passed away on 6 March 1988 in Trinidad at the age of 76 or 77.
