Subrat Das has built a long career as a cricket umpire since he began officiating in 1999. Born on 1 May 1963, the Indian official has spent decades in the middle across various levels of the sport. His experience spans 70 first-class matches, 77 List A games, and 67 T20 matches.
On the international stage, Das focused his officiating efforts on women's cricket. He stood in three Women's One Day International matches between 2010 and 2015. He also served as an umpire in two Women's Twenty20 International matches during 2015.
His international career began in February 2010 during a WODI series between England and India. He made his debut at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam and worked the final match of that same series in Mumbai three days later. His most recent WODI appearance took place in July 2015 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. One week after that match, he stood in his first WT20I at that same Bangalore venue during a series between New Zealand and India.
