Cazaly Stadium sits in the Cairns suburb of Westcourt and holds 13,500 people. Opened in 1957, the ground takes its name from an adjacent social club called Cazalys, which honours Australian rules footballer Roy Cazaly. The venue hosts international cricket matches featuring the Australia men's team.
Test cricket arrived in July 2003 when Australia played Bangladesh, followed a year later by a Test against Sri Lanka. The ground also staged its first men's one day international in August 2003 against Bangladesh, and later hosted South Africa in both one day and twenty20 international fixtures.
Cazaly Stadium has a capacity of 13,500 spectators.
