This venue gained international recognition in September 2018 when it hosted matches for the Northern sub-region group of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament.
Although the International Cricket Council selected the ground for the 2019 United States Tri-Nation Series, those matches later moved to different venues.
