Mission Road Ground holds a capacity of 3,500 and opened back in 1976. This sports field sits in Kowloon and operates as the primary home venue for both the Hong Kong national cricket team and the Hong Kong women's national cricket team. International fixtures arrived here much later than the opening date.
The schedule picked up pace significantly across various limited-overs formats during the twenty-tens and twenties. Men's one-day internationals debuted in January 2016 when Hong Kong played Scotland. That same month also saw the first men's Twenty20 international at the venue, featuring the exact same two opposing teams.
Women's international cricket found a home here too. The first women's Twenty20 international took place in June 2023 between Namibia and Thailand. The ground has since hosted matches for the ICC World Cricket League Championship and the Cricket World Cup Challenge League B.
Visiting touring squads often face regular Associate opponents like Bahrain, Italy, Uganda, Singapore, and the United States. Recent tournament action in 2025 produced decisive outcomes, including Italy defeating Hong Kong by seven wickets and Uganda defending a total to beat Tanzania by 59 runs.
