Oman Cricket Academy Ground 2 opened in 2012 with a capacity of 4,700 spectators. The venue serves as a home ground for the Oman national cricket team.
International fixtures at the ground span multiple formats. Bahrain played Saudi Arabia in the first men's T20I here on 20 January 2019. Oman hosted the United Arab Emirates for the first men's ODI on 5 January 2020. The first women's T20I took place on 4 February 2020 between Oman and Germany.
The final men's ODI at the ground occurred on 8 February 2022 against the United Arab Emirates. Later fixtures include men's T20Is stretching to October 2025 and women's T20Is extending to February 2026.
