Shree Ram Janaki International Cricket Stadium currently occupies a development phase in Janakpur, Nepal. The site serves as the future base for the Janakpur Bolts. Established in 2023, the venue represents a significant infrastructure project for the Madhesh Province region, with completion expected between 2024 and 2030.
The stadium will accommodate over 60,000 people once finished. This facility acts as the home for both the Madhesh Province cricket team and the Madhesh Province women's cricket team. The project requires an investment of Rs. 2 Billion from the local government to bring the grounds to operational status.
Located on 17 bighas of land in Rajaul, the stadium remains under active construction. The project has an estimated cost of US$27 million. While the ground awaits its first competitive fixtures, it stands as a primary sporting facility for professional teams within the Madhesh Province cricket setup.
The stadium is designed to hold over 60,000 spectators once the construction is finished.
The Janakpur Bolts, the Madhesh Province cricket team, and the Madhesh Province women's cricket team are the designated tenants.
