International cricket visited the ground in the nineteen seventies and nineteen eighties. England played New Zealand in the first men one day international on 18 July 1973. Australia faced an International XI in the sole women one day international held here on 21 July 1973. Pakistan played Sri Lanka in the last men one day international on 9 June 1983.
