Shakib Al Hasan and his team, Abu Dhabi, are having a similar rough patch in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Shakib is struggling with the bat and hasn’t been particularly impactful with the ball either. His team, Bangla Tigers, has also lost three consecutive matches. With just two wins in seven games, they sit eighth among nine teams with 4 points.

Shakib has played all seven matches so far. In the first game, he didn’t bat but took 2 wickets for 15 runs. In the second match, he scored 19 runs and picked up 2 wickets for 1 run. However, in the next two games, he neither batted nor took any wickets. In the fifth game, he scored an unbeaten 29 runs and took 1 wicket for 17 runs. In the following match, he remained unbeaten on 15 but went wicketless again. And today, he faced just one ball for a scoreless not-out and conceded 12 runs without taking a wicket.

Facing the UP Nawabs today, Bangla Tigers batted first after losing the toss and managed 87 runs for 4 wickets in 10 overs. In response, the UP Nawabs chased down the target with 12 balls to spare, losing only 3 wickets.
