New Zealand’s Finn Allen and Mark Chapman have made significant progress in the T20 batting rankings.

Jacob Duffy has been in stellar form with the ball since the start of the T20 series against Pakistan. His impressive performance has helped him rise rapidly in the rankings. For the first time, the New Zealand pacer has secured a spot in the top five of the bowlers’ rankings.

After taking six wickets in the first two matches, Duffy jumped 23 places last week to reach 12th position. He picked up one wicket for 37 runs in the third match and delivered a stunning performance in the fourth match with four wickets for just 20 runs. This pushed the 30-year-old bowler seven places higher to secure the fifth spot.

On Wednesday, the weekly update of the men’s cricket rankings reflected Duffy’s consistent form. He wrapped up the series with 13 wickets, taking two for 18 in the fifth match. His performance in the final game will be reflected in next week’s rankings.

Duffy took four wickets twice in the series, showcasing his consistency.

Another New Zealand pacer, Zachary Foulkes, also made a notable leap. He climbed 26 places to reach 64th position after taking three wickets for 25 runs in the fourth match. Meanwhile, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf advanced 11 spots to secure 15th place. He grabbed three wickets each in the third and fourth matches.

In the fourth match at Mount Maunganui, New Zealand opener Finn Allen smashed a match-winning 50 off just 20 balls, moving up two places to 16th in the batting rankings. Mark Chapman’s explosive 94 off 44 balls in the third match at Auckland helped him jump 10 places to 41st.

In the same game, Pakistan’s Hasan Nawaz scored an unbeaten 105 off 45 balls, earning a massive leap to 77th in the batting rankings.

Australia’s Travis Head continues to lead the T20 batting rankings, while West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein holds the top spot in the bowlers’ rankings. In the all-rounders’ category, India’s Hardik Pandya remains at the top.
