India will visit Bangladesh in August to play three ODIs and three T20Is, as part of the ICC’s Future Tour Program (FTP). The schedule for these two series was announced today by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

If everything goes as planned, the Indian team will arrive in Dhaka on August 13. The first two ODIs will be held at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on August 17 and 20. The third and final ODI will take place on August 23 at the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium (formerly Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium) in Chittagong.

The first T20I will be played in Chittagong on August 26, after which both teams will return to Dhaka for the last two T20Is at Mirpur on August 29 and 31. The Indian team will depart Dhaka on September 1.

India’s Bangladesh Tour Schedule

  • 1st ODI: August 17, Mirpur
  • 2nd ODI: August 20, Mirpur
  • 3rd ODI: August 23, Chittagong
  • 1st T20I: August 26, Chittagong
  • 2nd T20I: August 29, Mirpur
  • 3rd T20I: August 31, Mirpur

This will be India’s first visit to Bangladesh since December 2022. During that tour, Bangladesh won the ODI series 2-1, but India dominated the Test series with a 2-0 victory.

The two teams have faced each other multiple times in Test and ODI formats on Bangladeshi soil. However, this will be their first-ever T20I series in Bangladesh.
