Several English cricketers, including Jos Buttler and Harry Brook, were spotted riding bicycles to the ground.

The toss had already passed its scheduled time, yet the West Indies team hadn’t arrived at the venue. Their team bus was caught in severe London traffic, which also pushed back the start of the match.

Due to this unexpected delay, the third ODI between England and West Indies started 30 minutes later than planned. The game eventually got underway at 1:30 PM local time.

The toss at The Oval was originally set for 12:30 PM, with the match scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM. But the Caribbean side couldn’t make it to the stadium on time because of the traffic jam, resulting in the toss taking place at 1:10 PM.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) issued a statement confirming that the toss would be delayed, citing that “one of the teams was caught in severe traffic.”

Though the statement didn’t directly mention West Indies, it was quite clear who was affected, as the English players were already seen warming up on the field at the time.

Later, the ECB shared a video on social media showing Harry Brook, Jos Buttler, Luke Wood, Saqib Mahmood, and another player cycling toward the ground.

Having already secured the three-match ODI series with wins in the first two games, England won the toss and opted to bowl first in the final match.
