Champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru walked away with ₹20 crore in prize money, while a host of individual awards added more flair to the IPL season finale.

Every IPL match brought with it a handful of awards, and the final was no different. In fact, post-match celebrations and ceremonies meant the presentation only began after 1 AM local time and continued for quite a while. The ceremony not only included match-specific awards but also season-long honors for outstanding individual performances.

Back in 2008, when the IPL first began, the champions received ₹4.8 crore—a record amount for any cricket tournament at the time. Fast forward to 2025, and the champion’s purse has more than quadrupled.

Here’s a full breakdown of who won what in IPL 2025:

Team Awards

  1. Champions (₹20 crore): Royal Challengers Bengaluru
  2. Runners-up (₹13 crore): Punjab Kings
  3. Third Place (₹7 crore): Mumbai Indians
  4. Fourth Place (₹6 crore): Gujarat Titans

Individual Awards (Final Match)

  1. Electric Striker of the Match (₹1 lakh): Jitesh Sharma (24 off 10, SR 240)
  2. Ultimate Fantasy Player of the Match (₹1 lakh): Shashank Singh
  3. Super Sixer of the Match (₹1 lakh): Shashank Singh (6 sixes)
  4. On-the-Go Fours (₹1 lakh): Priyansh Arya (4 fours)
  5. Green Dot Balls of the Match (₹1 lakh): Krunal Pandya (12 dot balls)
  6. Player of the Final (₹5 lakh): Krunal Pandya (4-0-17-2)

One of the biggest surprises of the season was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who bagged the award for “Super Striker of the Season.”

  1. Orange Cap (Most Runs, ₹10 lakh): Sai Sudharsan (759 runs in 15 innings)
  2. Purple Cap (Most Wickets, ₹10 lakh): Prasidh Krishna (25 wickets in 15 innings)
  3. Emerging Player of the Season (₹10 lakh): Sai Sudharsan
  4. Super Striker of the Season (₹10 lakh): Vaibhav Suryavanshi (252 runs at 206.55 SR)
  5. Fantasy King of the Season (₹10 lakh): Sai Sudharsan (1495 fantasy points)
  6. On-the-Go Fours of the Season (₹10 lakh): Sai Sudharsan (88 fours)
  7. Super Sixer of the Season (₹10 lakh): Nicholas Pooran (40 sixes)
  8. Green Dot Balls of the Season (₹10 lakh): Mohammed Siraj (144 dot balls)
  9. Catch of the Season (₹10 lakh): Kamindu Mendis (Catch of Dewald Brevis vs Chennai)
  10. Fair Play Award (₹10 lakh): Chennai Super Kings
