He currently sits joint top of the wicket-takers list alongside teammate Waqar Salamkheil.

Mustafizur Rahman has been in impressive form in his debut ILT20 season, picking up wickets consistently in every match. Against Sharjah Warriors, the left-arm pacer once again delivered a disciplined spell and claimed a wicket for Dubai Capitals.

Bowling his full quota of four overs in Dubai on Wednesday, Mustafizur conceded 27 runs and gave away three boundaries. Notably, he bowled 10 dot balls during his spell.

In his first encounter against the Taskeen Ahmed-led side, Mustafizur had been extremely economical, picking up two wickets for just 13 runs. Compared to that outing, this time he was slightly more expensive.

So far in the UAE franchise league, Mustafizur has taken 15 wickets in eight matches. ” আসরে উইকেট শিকারির তালিকায় সতীর্থ ওয়াকার সালামখেইলের সঙ্গে আপাতত শীর্ষে আছেন তিনি। ”

At the Dubai International Stadium, Mustafizur was introduced into the attack in the second over and made an immediate impact. Johnson Charles managed two singles off the first two balls, before being completely tied down for the next four deliveries.

Returning for his second over in the fourth, Mustafizur started well again, conceding just two runs off the first three balls, including one wide. Monank Patel struck a boundary off the fourth ball, while three runs came from the final two deliveries, ending the over with nine runs conceded.

In his third over, Mustafizur struck on the very first ball, dismissing Sikandar Raza. The Zimbabwe star attempted to pull an off-cutter but only managed a simple return catch to the bowler. The remaining five balls produced two singles and a double.

However, Mustafizur could not finish strongly in his final over, the 19th of the innings. After conceding three runs off the first three balls, he was hit for two boundaries in the last three deliveries, finishing the over with 12 runs.

Every bowler contributed wickets for Dubai in the match. Haider Ali was the standout performer, claiming two wickets for just 13 runs. Salamkheil also picked up two wickets, conceding 29 runs, while Mohammad Nabi and David Willey chipped in with one wicket each.

Thanks to the collective bowling effort, Sharjah were restricted to 134 runs. Johnson Charles top-scored for Sharjah with 43 runs off 46 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes. Taskin did not get a chance to bat.
