Arsenal had the ball in the net late on, but it was ruled out for offside.

Despite an early setback, Mikel Arteta’s team bounced back to equalize and kept pressing relentlessly for the winner. However, all their efforts went in vain as they couldn’t break the deadlock.

Sunday’s Premier League clash at Fulham’s home ended in a 1-1 draw. Raul Jimenez gave Fulham the lead, only for William Saliba to equalize for Arsenal.

After three consecutive league wins, Arsenal dropped points again, potentially widening the gap to the top of the table. The Gunners sit second with 29 points from 15 matches, eight points behind leaders Liverpool, who have played a game less. Fulham, on the other hand, are 10th with 23 points from 15 matches.

Although Fulham struggled in possession and attack throughout the match, they made their only first-half shot count. Against the run of play, Mexican forward Jimenez beat defender Jakub Kiwior with pace, surged into the box, and slotted a precise angled shot past the keeper.

Arsenal, who had five attempts in the first half with just one on target, leveled in the 52nd minute through a set piece. Kai Havertz’s header found its way to French defender Saliba, who tapped it in from close range.

In the 88th minute, Bukayo Saka headed in a cross from Gabriel Martinelli, sparking celebrations as Arsenal appeared to have secured the win. But their joy was cut short as VAR ruled Martinelli offside in the buildup.

Shaken by this setback, Arsenal will aim to return to winning ways on Wednesday in their Champions League encounter against Monaco.
