Simone Inzaghi showered praise on his players after their dominant performance.

At the start of the match, Inter Milan found themselves under pressure as Lazio displayed well-organized football. However, they quickly recovered, regained their rhythm, and ended the match with a commanding victory. Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi was thrilled to see his team deliver such an impressive win against Lazio.

On Monday in Serie A, Inter defeated Lazio 6-0. Inzaghi described it as one of Inter’s most dominant performances in the history of the competition. He made sure to praise his players for their exceptional display of football.

Inzaghi expressed his joy at securing such a comprehensive win after managing to keep Lazio at bay early in the match.

“In the first 25 minutes, we managed to contain Lazio, who played very well technically. After that, we improved technically, scored two goals, and then added a third at the start of the second half.”

Inter remain a bit behind in the race to defend their league title. With 34 points from 15 matches, they sit third in the standings, behind Atalanta (37 points) and Napoli (35 points), who have played one more match.

Inzaghi was particularly pleased to secure such a dominant win against Lazio, who had been in excellent form this season.

“We were playing against a team that had won 16 out of their last 22 matches (in all competitions), and when they lost, it was undeserved,” Inzaghi noted.

“We needed a strong, determined performance, and we delivered because Serie A always brings plenty of challenges.”
