AC Milan has agreed to sign Manchester City’s English defender on loan for the remainder of the season.

Kyle Walker is set to fulfill his dream of playing for a club outside England. However, the Manchester City defender is not making a permanent move just yet. Instead, he will be playing for Italian club AC Milan on a loan deal.

The 34-year-old Walker has been signed by AC Milan for the rest of the season, with an option to make the move permanent after the loan period.

Walker joined Manchester City in 2017 from Tottenham Hotspur. Since then, he has played 319 matches for the club, winning six Premier League titles, City’s only Champions League trophy, and a total of 17 titles.

However, Walker has struggled for regular playing time this season. Across all competitions, he has made 18 appearances, with only nine starts in the Premier League.

His last match for City was on January 4, against West Ham United. Following that game, Walker reportedly informed coach Pep Guardiola about his desire to play for a club outside England.

While there were initial rumors about a move to the Saudi Pro League, Walker ultimately chose Italy as his next destination.
