On Friday, Al Nassr secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Al Fayha in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo scored his team’s third goal, continuing his incredible form.
January signing Jhon Durán, who recently joined Al Nassr from Aston Villa, made an immediate impact. The 21-year-old Colombian forward marked his debut with a brace, scoring in the 22nd and 72nd minutes—both goals showcasing his finishing ability. Just two minutes later, Ronaldo added his name to the scoresheet.
Ronaldo turned 40 on Wednesday, but his goal-scoring streak remains unstoppable. Just two days before his birthday, he netted twice against UAE’s Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League. With 924 career goals, Ronaldo is inching closer to the incredible milestone of 1,000 goals. In 2024 alone, he has already scored eight goals, and over his last 12 matches, he has netted 16 times.
Following his latest goal and victory, Ronaldo shared his excitement on Instagram, posting, “First goal and win after 40.”
The Portuguese legend also achieved another record with this victory, securing his 701st professional career win—more than any other player in history.
Al Nassr’s win lifted them to third place in the Saudi Pro League standings. They now have 41 points from 19 matches, trailing leaders Al Ittihad, who have 49 points, and second-placed Al Hilal, who have 46 points from 18 games.
