Despite being 11 points behind Liverpool, Arsenal’s coach remains hopeful and determined to fight until the very end.

Arsenal has fallen significantly behind in the Premier League title race. They currently trail league leaders Liverpool by 11 points, leading many to believe their title hopes are over. However, Mikel Arteta refuses to give up. The Arsenal boss is determined to keep pushing with everything he has until the last moment.

The Gunners suffered a major setback last week, losing 1-0 at home to West Ham. Liverpool wasted no time capitalizing on Arsenal’s slip-up, defeating Manchester City 2-0 the next day to strengthen their grip on the top spot.

With 53 points from 26 matches (15 wins, 8 draws), Arsenal sits second in the table. Liverpool, having played one more match, leads with 64 points from 19 wins and 7 draws.

Arteta is well aware of the uphill battle ahead. But he still dreams of making history in the Premier League.

“Mathematically, it is still possible for us to win the title. Given our current position, we have to approach every game with that mindset. Just three days ago, we had the chance to close the gap, bringing it down to about one-and-a-half games’ worth of points… It doesn’t matter now, we have to keep moving forward.”

“Our task is even harder than it was three days ago. But to win the title, we have to do something special. Given the situation we’re in, winning the Premier League would likely require us to achieve something that no team in history has ever done.”

Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest on Wednesday in their next league match.
