1. FC Heidenheim 0 – 4 Bayern Munich

Record champions Bayern Munich took a huge step toward reclaiming the Bundesliga title with a dominant 4-0 win over Heidenheim, extending their lead at the top to 9 points ahead of last season’s champions Bayer Leverkusen.

After a disappointing loss to Heidenheim last season, Bayern returned with a vengeance, turning last year’s frustration into a statement victory. This time, they left no room for doubt, cruising to a comfortable win that puts them within touching distance of their 34th league title.

Playing away on Saturday, Bayern showed their class against a team battling relegation. With just four rounds remaining, the title is now firmly in their sights.

Last April, Bayern had let a two-goal lead slip away to lose 3-2 at Heidenheim’s home ground. This time, they made no such mistake—taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the first half.

The scoring started in the 12th minute with a goal from Harry Kane. Just seven minutes later, Konrad Laimer found the net, followed by a strike from Kingsley Coman in the 36th minute. The visitors went into the break firmly in control.

Kane had a golden opportunity to add another before halftime, but the English striker couldn’t direct his header on target from close range.

In the 56th minute, Joshua Kimmich capped off the performance with Bayern’s fourth goal.

With their 22nd win of the season, Bayern moved another step closer to their record 34th Bundesliga title. Vincent Kompany’s side now sits at the top with 72 points from 30 matches, nine points clear of Bayer Leverkusen—who still have one game in hand.
