RB Leipzig 3 – 3 Bayern Munich

In a thrilling match full of twists and turns, Harry Kane’s face was captured by the TV cameras at every pivotal moment, reflecting the intensity of the battle.

Bayern Munich, heading into the match with the scent of the title in the air, got off to a rocky start. They conceded two goals in the first half. However, they managed to rally back and created a bright chance for victory with a dominant second-half performance. But in the dying moments, Leipzig changed everything with a last-minute goal.

Saturday’s dramatic Bundesliga encounter at the Red Bull Arena ended in a 3-3 draw. Leipzig went into halftime with a lead, thanks to goals from Benjamin Sesko and Lukas Klostermann. In response, Bayern briefly raised hopes of clinching the title with goals from Eric Dier, Michael Olise, and Leroy Sané. But in the final minute, Polsen struck to delay Bayern’s celebration.

Despite this setback, Bayern’s chances of securing the title with two matches to spare are still alive. If Bayer Leverkusen drops points against Freiburg on Sunday, Munich will secure the championship.

With the title in sight, Bayern fell behind early, conceding in the 11th minute when Sesko fired from outside the box to give Leipzig the lead.

Bayern’s woes continued before the break. In the 39th minute, Klostermann headed in a free kick from a teammate to put Leipzig 2-0 up.

Harry Kane, sidelined due to a card suspension, couldn’t play in this crucial match. As Bayern found themselves trailing by two goals, his disappointed face appeared on the TV cameras from the stands.

The second half saw Bayern come out with urgency. They were rewarded with two quick goals within two minutes, turning the game on its head. In the 62nd minute, Dier headed home from an Olise corner to reduce the deficit. Moments later, Olise himself brought Bayern level with a left-footed shot after a header from Serge Gnabry.

With Leipzig rattled, Bayern continued to apply pressure and, in the 83rd minute, took the lead. Sané latched onto a pass from Joshua Kimmich in the box and blasted the ball into the net, giving Bayern the upper hand.

After the goal, TV cameras again caught Kane’s face—this time with a beaming smile, as the prospect of his first-ever title seemed much closer.

However, that joy was short-lived. In the four minutes of added time, Polsen, with a cool finish from a tight angle past the goalkeeper, snatched away Bayern’s win, leaving the match 3-3.

With 76 points from 32 games (23 wins and 7 draws), Bayern are still in the title hunt. Bayer Leverkusen sits second with 67 points from 31 games.

Leipzig remains fifth with 50 points from 32 matches.
