Manchester United 0 – 2 West Ham United

For the first time in 18 years, West Ham United won a Premier League match at Old Trafford.

Despite being in excellent form in the Europa League, Manchester United remains stuck in a cycle of failure in the Premier League. On Sunday, they tasted the bitter defeat against West Ham United in the domestic competition.

West Ham won 2-0 at Old Trafford with goals from Tomáš Souček and Jarrod Bowen.

This marks United’s seventh consecutive match without a Premier League win, losing five of those.

It’s West Ham’s first Premier League victory at Old Trafford since 2007.

With this win, West Ham moves above Manchester United in the league table. After 36 matches, they have 10 wins and 10 draws, with 40 points, placing them in 15th position. United has 39 points from 10 wins and 9 draws.

While Manchester United is enduring one of its worst ever Premier League campaigns, they are delivering stunning performances in the Europa League. In the quarter-finals, they secured a dramatic victory over Lyon, advancing to the semi-finals. United proved even more dominant in the semi-finals, crushing Athletic Bilbao over two legs.

On May 21, United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, with Bruno Fernandes, Gasmus Højlund, and others leading the charge.
