In a thrilling five-goal battle, the team has secured its return to the top league.

After an exciting victory against Spezia in the playoff final, Cremonese has made its comeback to Serie A after two seasons.

Following a goalless draw in the first leg of the final, Cremonese took control on Sunday night with two goals from Manuel De Luca and one from Mitchell Colosolo. Although Spezia scored twice in the final two minutes, they couldn’t stop Cremonese’s progress.

As a result, Spezia will remain in Serie B for the next season.

Both teams were in Serie A during the 2022-23 season, but that year, they both dropped down to the second division together.
