The young defender wants to win everything with the English club.
Miles Lewis-Skelly hopes to leave his mark at Arsenal — and build a lasting legacy. To take a step closer to that goal, the 18-year-old has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
A product of Arsenal’s academy, Lewis-Skelly broke into the first team last season and has since become a regular under Mikel Arteta. During the 2024–25 campaign, he made 39 appearances across all competitions.
Previously, Lewis-Skelly was contracted to Arsenal until 2026, but the Gunners have now secured his services for an even longer period.
Arsenal officially announced the new deal on Thursday. In the club statement, the young defender shared his passion and ambition for Arsenal.
“I want to win everything possible here in football. I want to lift trophies on the biggest stages, and also be someone who always learns and stays grounded — that’s really important.”
Last season, Arsenal finished second in the Premier League, 10 points behind champions Liverpool, missing out on reclaiming the title.
