The defending Serie A champions have added four new players to their squad in this transfer window.
Before launching their campaign to retain the Serie A title, Napoli has further strengthened their squad. They have signed defender Sam Beukema from Bologna.
The Dutch center-back has been secured on a five-year contract. According to Italian media reports, Napoli spent around €30 million to complete the deal.
Since joining Bologna in 2023, Beukema has played a total of 80 matches for the club over the last two seasons. He was in the starting eleven for all eight of the team’s matches during the preliminary rounds of the last Champions League.
The 26-year-old tasted victory in May, helping his team lift the Coppa Italia after defeating AC Milan in the final.
This marks the fourth new signing for the two-time Serie A champions over the past three seasons.
Napoli’s quest to defend their league crown begins on August 13 against Sassuolo.
