Emil Smith Rowe scored Fulham’s equalizer with his very first touch on the pitch, securing a point for the hosts.

After the first two rounds of the English Premier League, Manchester United remain winless. Ralf Rangnick’s side, who began the season with a defeat, drew 1-1 against Fulham on Sunday.

The match at Fulham’s ground ended 1-1.

United captain Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty in the first half, while in the second half, the visitors took the lead through an own goal. Sub Emil Smith Rowe came off the bench and, with his first touch, slotted the ball into the net to give Fulham a point.

United earned a penalty after Mason Mount was fouled in the box by Fulham’s Calvin Bassey. Fernandes struck the ball well over the crossbar, leaving his team disappointed.

United took the lead in the 58th minute. Lenny Eyre’s header off Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz deflected into the net, giving the visitors the advantage.

Just 93 seconds after coming on, Smith Rowe found the target with his first touch, converting an excellent cross from Alex Iwobi with a simple tap.

With back-to-back draws, Fulham sit 13th with 2 points. United, who started their campaign with a loss to Arsenal, remain 16th with just 1 point.
