With another big win, the defending champions have stretched their lead at the top to 11 points.
After going scoreless in the previous match, Harry Kane was clearly extra hungry. Coming on as a substitute against Stuttgart, he netted three goals, powering Bayern Munich to a dominant victory.
On Saturday, Bayern secured a 5-0 win away from home in the Bundesliga.
After 13 matches, Bayern have now collected 37 points from 12 wins and 1 draw. Second-placed Leipzig sits on 26 points from 12 games. Stuttgart, meanwhile, are sixth with 22 points from 13 matches.
Coach Vasco Kompany had decided to give Kane a little rest in the busy schedule, starting the team’s star striker on the bench.
Early on, Bayern took the lead through Konrad Laimer, but the league champions struggled against Stuttgart’s aggressive attack for much of the first half.
The game shifted after halftime. In the 60th minute, Kane came on for Nicholas Jäcks, and the goal fest began.
Just six minutes after entering the pitch, Kane scored his first goal. Receiving a pass in midfield, he advanced unchallenged nearly 30 yards before doubling Bayern’s lead.
In the 78th minute, Bayern took another step toward a big win with a goal from Josip. Three minutes later, Stuttgart defender Lorenz handled the ball in the box and was shown a red card. Kane converted the resulting penalty to make it 4-0.
Kane completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute, slotting home from close range.
This marks Kane’s third Bundesliga hat-trick of the season. In 13 league matches, he has scored 17 goals, and overall this season in a Bayern shirt, he has 28 goals in 22 games.
Since joining Munich in 2023, Kane has 79 goals in 76 Bundesliga appearances, alongside 21 assists — highlighting his immense impact in Germany.
