Bangladesh’s position in the FIFA rankings remains unchanged.
In the final FIFA rankings released this year, there has been no movement among the teams in the top ten. Spain continue to hold on to the top spot.
World football’s governing body published the rankings on Monday for the last time in 2025. Spain lead the table with 1877.18 points, while Argentina sit close behind in second place with 1873.33 points—less than four points adrift.
France are not far off either, occupying third place with 1,870 points.
However, there is a noticeable gap between the top three and the rest. The remaining teams in the top ten, in order, are England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia.
There has been no change in Bangladesh’s ranking as well. With 911.1 points, the Red and Greens remain 180th in the world.
Most international teams are currently enjoying a lengthy break from competitive football. However, the Africa Cup of Nations began on Monday and will run until January 18.
The next FIFA rankings will be released the day after the tournament concludes.
