Paris Saint-Germain 4 – 2 Manchester City
After conceding two goals in just three minutes of the second half, PSG managed a remarkable comeback, writing a thrilling story of resilience.
Jack Grealish, who hadn’t scored for Manchester City in 2024, bagged two goals in this match. In the 53rd minute, Erling Haaland doubled City’s lead, finishing a low cross from Grealish inside the six-yard box, beating the goalkeeper with his first touch.
PSG didn’t take long to respond. Within a four-minute span (56-60′), they equalized.
The first goal came from Ousmane Dembélé, who was set up by a brilliant pass from Berkolar. Dembélé found the back of the net with a left-footed shot from outside the six-yard box after cutting inside from the left.
The second goal could have been from Djibril Diop, but his shot hit the crossbar. Berkolar then took a shot that deflected off the inside of the post and into the net.
In the 78th minute, PSG took the lead. Vitinha’s free-kick from the right was met with a powerful header by Neves into the far post, sending the crowd into jubilation.
In the third minute of added time, second-half substitute Sergio Ramos found the net. Initially ruled offside, VAR confirmed the goal, and the entire stadium erupted in celebration.
