Hakim Ziyech has found a new home. The Moroccan winger has joined Qatar’s Al-Duhail on a free transfer from Turkish club Galatasaray.
Al-Duhail, a club in the Qatar Stars League, officially announced the signing of the 31-year-old winger on Thursday.
Ziyech initially moved to Galatasaray on loan from Chelsea in August 2023. Later, the Turkish club made the deal permanent.
During his time at Chelsea, Ziyech played 107 matches and scored 14 goals. He also won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup with the English club.
At Galatasaray, he managed 8 goals in 34 matches. Now, he faces a new challenge in Qatar, where he will look to prove himself once again.
On the international stage, Ziyech has scored 25 goals for Morocco. He was a key player in Morocco’s historic 2022 World Cup campaign, where they reached the semi-finals. He played in every match of the tournament, contributing a goal and an assist.
