Galatasaray has officially secured Spanish forward Álvaro Morata on a one-year loan deal from AC Milan.
For the past few days, rumors were circulating about the Turkish club’s interest in Morata. Now, it’s confirmed—the experienced striker is heading to Galatasaray on loan for a year.
Initially, Morata will play for the club until January next year. As part of the deal, Galatasaray also has the option to make his move permanent.
The club announced that the 32-year-old striker will earn €3 million for the 2024-25 season and an additional €3 million for the first half of the 2025-26 season.
After leading Spain to the European Championship title last summer, Morata joined AC Milan from Atlético Madrid for a €13 million transfer fee. However, he struggled to find his best form at the Italian club.
Now, with experience from Real Madrid, Juventus, and Chelsea, Morata is set for a fresh challenge in Turkey.
