After clinching the La Liga title, Barcelona’s players spent the night celebrating in full swing.
The party kicked off right on the pitch after the final whistle. But once they got back to the dressing room, the real celebration began. Later, players took the joy outside, dancing and singing on the balcony of the club’s training complex in front of fans. Some even took to the streets to share the moment with the supporters. It was an unforgettable night-long fiesta.
Barcelona secured the title with a 2–0 win over local rivals Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium on Thursday night — regaining the La Liga crown with two games to spare.
The last time Barça sealed the title at this same venue in 2023, celebrations had to be cut short. Players danced in a circle on the pitch, but an angry group of home fans stormed toward them, forcing Robert Lewandowski, Marc-André ter Stegen, and others to rush into the dressing room.
This time, coach Hansi Flick had already cautioned his players not to go overboard if they won. Still, players like Raphinha and Fermín López couldn’t resist a bit of dancing and joy on the pitch before Flick ushered them off quickly.
Once inside the dressing room, though, there was no holding back. Videos on social media showed players dancing, singing, and throwing Flick and Pedri into the air. Laminate Yamal, who scored a stunning goal in the match, looked like the team’s DJ. Club president Joan Laporta also joined the fun.
One moment that caught attention was veteran goalkeeper Wojciech Stęczni, known for his smoking habit, sitting with a cigarette in his mouth — a moment the club itself posted online.
Later, the team moved to the other side of the city, to their own training ground. While fans lit up the streets with fireworks, Barça players sang and danced from the balcony of the Joan Gamper Training Complex.
In the early hours of the morning, players like Marc Casadó and Alejandro Balde were seen out on the streets, celebrating with fans. In another video, Dani Olmo, Eric García, Pedri, and Iñigo Martínez were spotted cycling through the city. Reports suggest they were heading to visit teammate Ferran Torres in the hospital, who recently underwent surgery for appendicitis.
And the party? It’s far from over. This celebration is likely to carry on for days.
Under Flick’s leadership, this new-look Barcelona not only won La Liga but also lifted the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey — beating fierce rivals Real Madrid in both finals.
