Coaches not safe to come, Cricketers practicing alone

Bangladeshi cricketers have been practicing individually at Mirpur Sherebangla Stadium for the past few days. Because the coaching staff of the national team is a hotel-prisoner. They are not going to the field due to security risk.

Therefore, the country’s cricket board PCB has offered the Bangladesh team to go to Pakistan first. There, the cricketers will be given all kinds of facilities for practice. BCB used that opportunity and went to Pakistan four days ago.

The first Test of the two-match series will begin on August 21 in Rawalpindi. The second and final Test of the series will begin in Karachi on August 30.

Bangladesh ‘A’ team is also touring Pakistan now. The ‘A’ team made up of Mushfiq-Moominul has already arrived in Pakistan to play two four-day matches and three 50-over matches.

The Bangladesh cricket team was scheduled to travel to Pakistan on August 17 to play a two-Test series. But changing circumstances have changed that schedule. According to the new schedule, Nazmul will catch the Pakistan flight on August 12. The squad for the Test series will be announced on Sunday. A BCB source confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo.
