The experienced coach has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the English Premier League club.

In a tough period, Everton has turned to a familiar face. The club has brought back David Moyes, who previously managed them for 11 years. The Scottish coach is thrilled to return to the English club.

Everton dismissed Sean Dyche last Thursday. Just two days later, on Saturday, they signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the 61-year-old Moyes.

The team’s recent performances on the pitch have been disastrous. They are just one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League table. After 19 matches, they have managed only 3 wins, sitting at 16th place with 17 points.

Moyes now faces the responsibility of turning things around for the struggling team. Despite the challenge, he didn’t hesitate to take the reins again and called on everyone to support the team.

“I had 11 fantastic and successful years at Everton. When I was offered the opportunity to rejoin this great club, I didn’t hesitate for a moment,” Moyes said.

“Now, it’s crucial for all Evertonians to stand by the players and play their part during this important season so that we can move into our magnificent new stadium as a Premier League team.”

Moyes previously managed Everton from 2002 to 2013. After leaving the club, he coached Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland, and West Ham United.

Under his guidance, West Ham won the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League. He stepped down as their manager at the end of the 2023-24 season. Now, he’s back at his old home with a new mission.
